OnePlus Device Launch Teasers & Videos


During it’s prime heyday, the announcement of a new OnePlus device drew considerable media attention and excitement from fans of the company. 

During my time there, I worked right in the middle of the peak OnePlus hype cycle and was able to work on both the launch video and social teasers for a number of new devices that were launch bi-annually.

OnePlus 7Pro Launch Video


Produced with external partner Tendril Studio as the main creative production house, I helped concept storyboard and develop alot of the technical app UI animations for the final product launch video below. 






OnePlus McClaren Edition 

In developing the co-branding for the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition, the central themes were the expression of ‘Speed’ and McLaren’s signature Papaya Orange. Our goal then was to create marketing assets that were minimal in supporting elements to let these two central visual elements shine through. 

I created the majority of the motion assets for the launch, which included a countdown campaign for social, the final device name reveal for the launch video, and the co-branded logo animation. The logo animation had a particularly large footprint, as it was used across all video assets between both the OnePlus and McLaren teams. 



       




OnePlus 6 & 6T Teasers



For the launch of both the OnePlus 6 and 6T, I created a series of animated teasers that hint at key features of the forthcoming device. 

The goal for each of these campaigns was twofold; announce the upcoming device launch through official channels and build anticipation from both our customer base and relevant media outlets.
